    The Bermuda Post Office would like to remind the public that Post Office Box rental fee payments are due by January 31st 2014.

    Payments made from February 1st 2014 are subject to a late fee of $25 in addition to the post box rental fee. Payments can be made in person by cash, cheque (post-marked January 31st 2014 or prior) or by credit/ debit card at any post office around the Island, as well as online at

  • New Postal Fees
    The Bermuda Post Office has increased current fees on the following postal services and products. Please click the "read more" for detailed information.
    • All Express Mail Service fees will be increased by 25%
    • Post box annual rental fee will increase
    • Customs clearance and processing will be increased
    • A new fee will be charged for holding of mail for persons travelling
    • Redirection of mail overseas due to change of address will incur a new administrative fees

  • Mangrove Bay Post Office Closure

    The Bermuda Post Office (BPO) would like to advise the public it has closed the Mangrove Bay Post Office until further notice to enable urgent repair work on its air conditioning unit.

    The following alternative locations are suggested: Southampton Post Office (open from 8am to 5pm) or Warwick Post Office (open from 8am to 5pm).

    The BPO apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and Mangrove Post Office expects to re-open as soon as the repairs are complete.

  • Southampton Postal Delivery Disruption

    The Bermuda Post Office (BPO) regrets to advise residents of Southampton that there is no mail delivery service to routes: SN01 and SN02 pending the resolution of an industrial dispute with the Bermuda Industrial Union.

    The matter is presently with the Department of Workforce Development and is being handled pursuant to all relevant labour dispute resolution processes.

    Affected residents may collect their mail directly from the Southampton Post Office.

    The BPO management apologizes for the inconvenience caused and is working to resolve the dispute fairly and quickly.

  • Notice To Harrington Sound Residents
    The Bermuda Post Office (BPO) wishes to advise residents of HS01 and HS02 that there will be no mail delivery whilst we await the resolution of an ongoing labour dispute with the Bermuda Industrial Union that has also halted delivery to residents of SN01 and SN02.

    The BPO regrets this inconvenience but asks residents in HS01 and HS02 to collect their mail from the Crawl Post Office, whilst we await the resolution of this labour dispute.

  • The Bermuda Post Office Online Survey Extended


    Help Us Improve The Bermuda Post Office 

    The Bermuda Post Office (BPO) would like to advise that the BPO’s online customer awareness survey has been extended until March 31, 2015.

    The BPO is conducting the survey, launched in November 2014, to help assess customer awareness of Post Office postal products and services.

    The survey takes about five minutes to complete and can be completed online through the Post Office website at or through the BPO Facebook page.

    Alternatively, hard copies of the survey can be manually completed and handed in at any post office. These forms are also available at the General Post Office in Hamilton and all parish post offices.

  • Bermuda Post Office (BPO) Postage Rate Modernization

    The Bermuda Post Office (BPO) would like to advise the public that it will introduce a rate change and modernization of its postal products on July 1st, 2015 for local and international letter mail, parcels and International Data Express (IDE). 

    The BPO has not issued a rate increase on the majority of its products since 2000. However, given the increased global costs for doing business, rates must be adjusted to reflect these trends.

  • BPO Post Office Operating Hours Change
    The operating hours for all post offices located outside of Hamilton are now from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm until further notice. The General Post Office will continue to operate from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Perot Post Office will continue to operate from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We apologize to the public for any inconvenience.
